Pumpkin

Please join us in welcoming Pumpkin to Barks Without Borders!

Pumpkin’s story is one of heartbreak and hope. She was rescued from the Apple Valley Municipal Shelter just hours before her scheduled euthanasia.

For four long weeks, Pumpkin and her siblings sat in a cold, dark, overcrowded shelter, holding on for a second chance at life. This sweet girl watched her siblings get adopted one by one, leaving her behind — scared, alone, and out of time.

Pumpkin is now safe and sound with one of our amazing foster families, where she’s beginning to decompress, heal, and learn all the fun “puppy things” she missed out on.

We can’t wait to share more as Pumpkin’s sweet, silly, and spunky personality starts to shine through. Welcome to the family, little one — your new life begins now.
