Santa’s Reindeer

Please join us in welcoming Santa’s Reindeer to Barks Without Borders!

Earlier this week, we got an urgent call — seven newborn puppies had been abandoned in an alley in Long Beach. We were told we had just hours to make a decision before they would be euthanized at SEACCA Animal Shelter.

Without hesitation, Nicole said YES and raced to save them.

These tiny souls, now known as the Reindeer Litter, are only about one week old and require bottle feeding around the clock. They’ve earned their festive name because, if all goes well, they’ll be ready for their forever homes right around Christmas.

We’d be lying if we said it’s been easy — five of the seven puppies are fighting hard to survive. But with the dedication of Nicole, two other incredible fosters, and the compassionate care of our medical team at Carmel Mountain Ranch Veterinary Hospital, these little ones have a real shot at life.

We’ll be sharing their journey over the next few weeks as they grow, fight, and hopefully thrive. Please send all your love and good energy to these brave little reindeer.

If you’d like to donate toward their care, you can help by checking out our Amazon Wish List, or use the donate tab here on our website. Every bit of support helps us give them the best chance possible.
